Since 2016 there are no failures of our legendary 701 headclamp. The new design allows the riders to enjoy the ease of installation, as it does not affect the bike in any way. Using the latest software to analyse the forces involved during everyday riding, crashing and racing we were able to manufacture a billet part that will serve you for the lifetime of the vehicle. Should the forces become excessive, other parts will start bending in the assembly to prevent damage to the frame allowing you to reach your destination no matter what luck throws at you!
Long distance travelling or racing is never an issue with the Aurora Rally kits. The navigation tower will accept a racing back plate and the ABS side panels with the screen have ¼ turn bolts for ease of use. Actually, only two M6 bolts need to be removed to undress the whole front part of the bike. The bike remains narrow, yet the protection of the elements is increased due to the rally KTM™ shield which is wider and the higher than the new, 2019 rally screen. Function and protection are a must in our model range.
One of the most important parts during travelling or racing is the navigation tower. The part that houses the lighting system, the GPS/Mobile or, if racing, the navigation gear. With our advanced navigation tower, you can be assured that you will reach your destination to take corrective actions even after a fall. Stainless steel, combined with naval grade aluminum and polymers allow this tower to be flexible, yet stiff. The vibration dampeners on the back plate further protecting the valuable navigation equipment that is being used by attenuating the vibrations transmitted from the head stem of the bike to the system. Being in the rally scene for so long we know that service of the parts is inevitable. The tower comes preinstalled with special rivets that make the disassembly a breeze!
Travelling in the dark is part of the motorcycle life. That’s true, but it doesn’t have to come at a price! With the Aurora Rally Equipment 690 Lite kit the lights are upgraded to a full 60mm projector and a Hella LED high beam, both fully legal. The option to upgrade at a later stage to a Baja Design Squadron Sport or Pro for off-road riding is always there so you can future proof your kit. The seven colour RGB light, a trademark to our rally kits allows you to customize the look of your bike, and the position light cover is 3D printed with the Aurora Emblem because the quality is hidden in the details.
There is no need to modify anything on your bike to install our electrical harness. Everything comes pre-assembled and our IP67 rated connectors will ensure that whatever the weather you will not be left out in the dark. When you turn the high beam on the system, the Aurora Rally Equipment wiring harness keeps the main beam on to ensure maximum. Now you have even more time to prepare for that trip!
From Aurora Rally Equipment you get a Rally kit that comes pre-assembled. That means that most of the work is already done and there are no trivial questions to be answered before you install the kit. All the Dzus fasteners and ¼ turn bolts are pre-installed and the kit can be installed in a few hours. Get it on Friday, travel on Sunday!
