What does the xSystem motorcycle chain lubrication system from Scottoiler do?
The xSystem is an electronically pumped motorcycle chain oiler requiring only a small power feed from the battery to operate (400 mA). It can be installed to most bikes in under an hour by connecting the wiring loom to the battery; this plug and play connectivity means the xSystem is the easiest electronic motorcycle chain oiler ever developed. Unlike some other products there is no complicated wiring or tapping into speedometers or switches.
The xSystem senses vibration and movement with a triple axis accelerometer, using technology derived from MotoGP. It will sense when the engine is running and power on, then once moving - even at constant motorway cruising speeds - the sensor will monitor engine vibrations and trigger the xSystem’s oiling mode. It has 5 flowrates, suitable from rainy to dry conditions.
Included in the xSystem chain oiler kit is the xSystem unit, including the new 60 ml dispenser that makes installation the easiest yet, a 250ml bottle of Scottoil, providing more than four reservoir refills (so around 9.000 km), tubing, clips, a set of installation instructions and an operating guide.
The xSystem unit can be mounted in different locations, e.g. onto the frame or under the seat, depending on rider preference.
