Compatibility
Please physically check the diagnostic connector style on your bike (under the seat, near fusebox).
- EURO4 MODEL (Monochromatic LCD dashboard, White 4-pin diagnostic plug)
- Tenere 700 2019-2020 (EU and US models).
- ... and all others with white four-pin diagnostic connector and monochromatic LCD screen.
How it works
The Dongle modifies the ABS settings behavior to what you would expect it to have directly from the manufacturer.
- It is expanding the functionality of the ABS button.
- It is adding the possibility to control Rear ABS separately.
- It is adding the ABS settings memory.
The new behavior will be as follows:
- A short push of stock "ABS" button will toggle between the rear ABS OFF and ABS ON.
- A long hold of stock "ABS" button will turn ABS completely OFF (front and rear ABS) - as on default bike.
- ABS settings are retained in memory even after turning the motorcycle OFF and ON.
Note: The changes of Rear ABS settings can be done even if the bike is moving! Changes of whole (Front + Rear) ABS system can be done only when the bike is not moving - this is unfortunately hard-coded in ECU.
Why do you need it
- It completely eliminates the time-consuming setting of ABS when driving in off-road or anywhere else.
- It allows you to return to the riding basics also with the modern bike. Just sit and enjoy the ride.
Installation
- Plug-and-play installation. Simply disconnect two connectors near the battery and connect the Dongle between them.
