The new YAMAHA 700T AXP skid plate is available !
Made from HDPE plastic 8mm thick, our protection is fitted on the 4 OEM mounts directly into the frame plus a massive plastic part to the rear to reinforce the strengh of the skid plate and to protect the exhaust in case of big impact. This combo will offer a secure and strong fitment without any risk for your engine and cases.
The AXP Skid plate offers a complete protection with a water pump and cases coverage. The must is the linkage guard which offers a nice protection being flexible and strong at the same time.

A bit tight to fit, not so easy like the Axp video

I've followed the instructions and even watch the video on YouTube, and rewatch to see if I was doing something wrong, but the front screws was complicated to align with the frame, I even think to use a drill, but after left them almost loose and with some effort I managed to put them right, looks easy to mount but... With the bike on a lift could be easier. Don't know if the water pump cover will interfere with the boots I have to try it.

Goed uitgekiend zoals alle AXP producten! Om te vermijden dat bij een eventuele impact de plaat niet rechtstreeks met het blok in aanraking komt heb ik links (carter) en rechts (waterpomp) aan de binnenkant van de plaat met dubbelzijdige tape een stukje rubber 2x1cm/2mm dik aangebracht.
