1. Wear Protection
The outer layer of the 3-layer fabric is made from heavy-duty polymer, offering excellent abrasion resistance. The fully welded construction makes the Monsoon 3 extremely durable, even under harsh conditions.
2. Tear Protection
The middle layer consists of densely woven yet flexible 1000D nylon mesh. This allows the nylon filaments to align with the direction of stress, significantly increasing tear resistance.
3. Water Protection
The innermost layer is made of red vinyl, ensuring 100% waterproof performance and high interior visibility. Unlike hard panniers, the roll-top closure will not permanently deform in a crash, keeping your gear dry at all times.
4. Impact Protection
High-impact plastic reinforcements at the front, bottom, and rear protect your luggage from flying gravel, branches, and other trail hazards.
Monsoon 3 fits many bikes without pannier frames, keeping the bike narrow and the weight close to the center. Always ensure sufficient distance from hot exhaust parts. We strongly recommend using one or more Inferno Heat Shields.
When used with pannier frames, Monsoon 3 also fits bikes with minimal or no side mudguards, such as the BMW F 800 GS. For a secure installation, we offer an optional kit with two additional ROKstraps.
