These BMW LED emblem indicators with white Daytime Running Light (DRL) are easy to install (adhesive and/or screw mounting) in place of the original BMW emblems. The set includes a photo guide and all mounting and connection materials.
After installation, the original emblems are reattached to the BMW LED indicators with DRL.
The BMW LED emblem indicators with white DRL can be used on motorcycles with existing LED or bulb turn signals. The connection cable has waterproof 3-pin connectors, allowing the fairing with the LED emblem indicator to be easily removed after installation.
You can connect the LED emblems with DRL in two ways:
- Direct connection to your bike’s wiring harness using the supplied connection set.
- Using the special ezCAN/CANsmart cable to connect to a HEX ezCAN or Denali CANsmart.
Connecting to the wiring harness:
With a direct harness connection, the white DRL lights always operate at 100%. Optionally, you can order the Switch type II or III to turn the white DRL LEDs on/off and dim them.
Connecting to Denali CANsmart or HEX ezCAN:
For more advanced options, connect the LED emblems with DRL to a Denali CANsmart or HEX ezCAN:
- Adjust DRL intensity (day/night)
- Use the BMW handlebar controller (if available) to set LED brightness
- Adjust turn signal intensity (day/night)
- Change DRL color (white or amber)
- Activate strobe function with 3x high beam
Connecting to an ezCAN or CANsmart requires three free channels (left, right, DRL).
Already have a CANsmart or ezCAN but not enough channels?
Order an additional ezCAN, which is cheaper than a CANsmart (no wiring harness included by default). Always order the special LED emblem wiring harness to ensure proper connection to your controller.
Not only does it look great, but your indicators are more visible from the side, improving road safety. No CANbus system modifications are needed!
These BMW LED emblem indicators with white DRL feature 30 high-resolution LEDs for excellent light output—beware of cheap imitations!
