This adapter is specifically designed to mount the HippoHips™ luggage plate on the exhaust side of OEM BMW R1200GSA / R1250GSA / F850GSA luggage racks.

Once the bracket is installed, the plate can be mounted more securely, as it increases the area available for mounting the plate on the exhaust side of your motorcycle.
