The R 1300 GS is known for having a heavy lean angle. Pushing the heavy GS off its factory side stand can be a struggle, especially for shorter riders. BMW gave the GS that aggressive lean for a reason - they know you'll load it up. But what about when you're riding light? Or when you're on uneven ground at a rest stop? Our adjustable stand lets you set the lean for how you actually ride, not how BMW thinks you might.
The proof is in the engineering: Solid aluminum that takes the weight without flexing. That enlarged foot isn't just for show - it's the difference between stable parking and an expensive tip-over.
*BMW offers four different side stands and six different center stands for the various trim packages and suspensions offered on the R 1300 GS/GSA. There is a small possibility that the foot on your AltRider Adjustable Side Stand, when in the tallest setting, may contact the center stand in the stowed position depending on the combination of trim packages and suspension.

De originele zijstandaard van de R1300GS laat de motor redelijk diep doorzakken bij het parkeren. Het vraagt veel kracht om de motor terug recht te zetten. Met de verstelbare zijstandaard van Altrider is dit probleem opgelost. Ik ben uiterst tevreden met het resultaat. En de montage duurt max. 20 minuten. Voor mij 5 sterren.
